Fourth, Operating Steps:
1. If there are metal wires wrapped in toys, the tester will test metal wires projections from the toys. (Do not remove wires from the toys.)
2. Using two pieces of metal cylinders, round pliers or equivalent to 10+1 mm diameter metal parts the metal wires are securely clamped. From wires 50 mm by pinch, if wired prominence less than 50 mm, at the ends of the wires, perpendicular to the wires exert 70+2 Newton's force. If metal wire bent over 60 degrees, continue to the following tests.
3. Wire bends 60 degrees from the vertical position, and then bends 120 degrees in the opposite direction, finally returned to the upright position. Do what is mentioned above for a week. Weekly 30 tests carried out at a rate of 2 seconds, rest 60 seconds after each 10 test cycles, testing should ensure that the wire from the cylinder clamps in place bent and should be straightened.
4. Check whether the metal wire is broken or has a sharp tip. If the relative tests are helpful, you can remove the packaging material. 5. Record: (1) mark the unqualified product; (2) record the inspection results in detail in the report.
Test Features of Plug Socket Tester
When the test button of plug socket tester is pressed, and if under the normal conditions of lines, the leakage switch of control circuit should immediately trip.
If the test button is pressed, but the leakage switch does not trip, there are two reasons as follow:
The first one is that the null line and the ground wire of the tested socket are wrongly connected. In this case, the plug indicates for correct wire connection, but the leakage switch will not work.
The second one is that the wire connection of the tested socket is entirely correct, but the leakage switch is in failure, in need of repair or replacement. Method of judging whether wire connection is correct and whether the leakage switch can work properly: Line state indicates in the correct state. When the leakage switch is being pressed, it reliably works.
